7:34 pm	I had a good weekend. I wish the weekend lasted more than 2 days - I sure dread going to work tomorrow morning. Jake and I got along well all weekend. We watched a few movies, went grocery shopping and picked up a few Christmas decorations. I just finished dinner and I think I'm going to take a bath and go to bed. :) (1 Comment |Comment on this)

7:52 pm	I just got back from my mom's house for dinner. She made yummy meatloaf :P I ate a ton! I really need to watch my weight. Oh well, I'm eating for two, right? Not really, I know, but it's a fun idea. Jake went and rented War of the Worlds for us to watch so I'm off to do that. Hopefully I won't asleep. 6:44 pm	So frustrated I get so frustrated with Jake sometimes. I love him, I really do, but I just want to scream at him to grow the f*$% up! He still wants to go out and drink with his buddies, play pool at the bar, do things that single guys do. I wish that he wanted to be home with me more. I know he loves me, and I know he loves our baby. Maybe I'm just being extra sensitive right now. But I really do hope he doesn't plan on acting like this once the baby arrives, that's for damn sure. I will not tolerate that. On a happier note my grandma sent me a check in the mail today to buy something for the baby. I haven't decided what I'm going to spend it on - either the carseat or the crib bedding. Speaking of carseats, I can't figure out if I should buy one of the 'bucket' type carseats that is a baby carrier, too, or if I should just buy one of the convertable carseats that can face both backwards or frontwards. Is it essential that I get a carrier type for when the baby is a newborn? How old will the baby be before she's big enough to be in the convertable seat? I'll have to do some research on that. 5:14 pm	Snow!! I actually saw some light snow fall this afternoon! How exciting! We don't get snow here very often. It's been so windy lately - winter weather, for sure. I'm starting to get into the Christmas mood! (Comment on this)

9:08 pm	Why am I so computer retarted? It says that I have to validate my email address in order for me to be able to comment in people's journals. LJ says that they're going to email me sometime to reply to, but I keep checking my mail and NOTHIN' - my box is empty. I have been wanting to post comments to some people but I can't. 7:15 pm	Intro Here I am in the Land of Live Journal! I still have alot to learn about this. And I'm hoping that I can figure out how to make my journal pretty like others that I've seen. Here's my introduction: My name is Shauna and I'm 23 years old. I met my boyfriend, Jake, when we were in high school. We started dating off and on when I was a junior and he was a senior. Our relationship as been pretty rocky at times, but I think right now we're on fairly even ground. We just recently got an apartment together and we're talking about getting married. I love Jake dearly, and I'm so happy that I'm having his baby - and hopefully someday we'll get married. But right now I'm pretty content having things be this way. I am thrilled to be pregnant. I was scared to death at first, mostly I was scared at what my mother would say. But after the inital shock everyone in our families started to get excited. We were so happy to find out that we're having a little girl! We haven't decided on any names - I want her middle name to be Elizabeth because that's my sister's middle name. Maybe Ava Elizabeth? I like Isabella, but Isabella Elizabeth is a mouthful. We still have time to figure it out. I'm going to go try and figure out how to make my journal pretty. (Comment on this)
